Interregional IT-Training Courses for Kyiv-Mohyla Collegia Network (InterCollegia)" is a new Joint European Project TEMPUS TACIS JEP_25142_2004 for Networking Knowledge and Communication was launched by European Commission.

The project is about elearning aiming at establishing a creative framework for training of teaching staff at Kyiv-Mohyla Collegia Network to improve their teaching skills in digital on-line environments and to enable them to perform IT-based education in schools. InterCollegia is performed from 1.9.2005 until 31.08.2008.

 

Regulations of the project:

  • Changing the way Ukraine delivers digital education;

  • From digital literacy at school to digital excellence at university;

  • Qualifying Ukrainian teachers - by encouraging closer links between university and secondary level schools;

  • Reengineering the process of teaching and learning through extensive e-learning performance;

  • Bringing Ukrainian education closer to Europe and contributing to establish co-operation and exchange between schools in Ukraine and European partner countries;


Outcomes and Outputs of the Project
  • Framework conditions for Kiev Mohyla Collegia Network teaching staff to improve their competence and skills for applying online esources pro-actively.

  • Master trainers as multipliers conducting further training of teachers aiming at long term sustainable implementation of IT based teaching in schools.

  • Training courses and modules for instructing teaching staff to use IT in school education with materials made available at eMeReCU portal site for further reference for participating teachers.

  • Expanding Kiev Mohyla Collegia Network into a Ukrainian school net with an Internet teaching and learning platform based on the eMeReCU portal linking with other European school networks.


Objectives of the Project
  • Development of didactic, methodology and content for further training of school teaching staff to use ICT in school education applying computer visual aids;

  • Two level pilot implementation of newly developed and tailored training courses for school teachers as courses for training of trainers and furthermore, performing training courses for teachers in different regions.
